Product Description

The Jian is one of the oldest continuously used weapons in history. The Jian is 2,500 years old, and dates back to before the Three Kingdoms Era. The Jian is the hero's sword and is often referred to as the "The Gentleman's Weapon", due its elegant design. It is interesting that for 2,000 years the Jian has been present at the bloodiest conflicts in China, and yet now the Jian is most closely associated with Tai Chi.

The Qi Sword was popular in the Qi Dynasty (404-221 B.C.) in the Warring States Period (475-221 B.C.).
